Oscars 2014 winners (KEEP REFRESHING!)

BY Joanna Mendoza

UPDATE, March 2, 2014, 1pm GMT+8:Gravity won the most number of awards (7 including Best Director), but 12 Years a Slave won the night’s highest honor, Best Picture. As expected, Matthew McConaughey won Best Actor, Cate Blanchett won Best Actress, Alfonso Cuaron won Best Director, Jared Leto won Best Supporting Actor, and Lupita Nyong’o won Best Supporting Actress.

The screenplay categories were also not a surprise at all: Spike Jonze won Best Original Screenplay for Her, and John Ridley won Best Adapted Screenplay for 12 Years a Slave.

I wonder how much money they make during awards season. Must be huge if they refuse to share…

Is Leo not going to win that upset that critics have been talking about for weeks? Does fate merely want to save me from that heartbreak? Thank you, fate, but I’d still like to see the entire thing. So, will you please let me?

Ah, thank you! One of my neighbors has let me watch the Oscars at her place. Time for an Oscar viewing party with my neighbor! Thank you, dear! Thank you, fate!

Here are the list of nominees. I will update this as the awards go along. So keep refreshing!
